Does anyone else have this issue with the Motorola Razr-i, homedj not recognising the physical sdcard (sdcard1) on my phone. It's a similar phone to the Motorola Razr-m in the USA, but the Razr-i has an Intel processor. Having a similar issue with other apps. Homedj works fine on other non Intel phones and tablets. Anyone know of a solution other than changing my phone?

Is this a brand new phone you got?
Or you were using for awhile?

Did you root it? If yes, did you do any sdcard swap with phone memory? or did you re-partition your sdcard.

From phone specification I see that internal storage is marked as /mnt/sdcard, while external sdcard is mounted as /mnt/external1

I am not sure where this name: mnt/sdcard1 is popping up from. I tried Razr emulators with Intel CPU and everything was working. Do you have a flexibility to reset your device and see if it helps not only HomeDJ but other applications, which are having issue with sdcard on your phone.

Were you able to start HomeDJ at all. If it cannot access ascard it should turn itself into STREAM ONLY mode without saving files to your sdcard. Were you able at least use it in STREAM ONLY Mode?

Thank you.

Had the phone about three months, didn't realise that some apps were pointing at the virtual sdcard until i ran out of space for songs with homeDJ.

No root, phone as i bought it. The App "ES File Explorer" shows the external SDcard as SDCARD1 and the internal as SDCARD0. There is various documentation on the internet refering to these as well so i assumed that was the standard naming convention.

I haven't done a reset, and don't know how too, not that technical. HomeDJ runs ok and works fine and lets me select SDCARD under Cache-Location, but this only gives me 729Mb not the 32Gb available on the physical sdcard.

Want to use the SDcard for off line listening.

I will implement another method of enumerating sdcards on the device and will publish that version in very near future. Please let me know if it will give you an option to select real sdcard.
Thank you.

Working perfectly, thank you for the prompt fix. A+ developer.

Other suggestions if your open to feedback.
1. Allow unlimited buffer size, I do a lot of travelling and would be good to download all my songs before I leave.
2. Is it possible to pick up songs off the device not downloaded via homedj? I don't mind saving them in the homedj folder.
3. Increase the shuffle size, I have over 8k tracks so 1k is a bit small.
4. could you allow the grouping of music genres, I have 163 so far! I've notice artist/record companies use slightly different names, most likely to get their albums to stand out. Having genre groups would be a fantastic feature that no other music player has. The user could decide which genre went into each genre group. Then users could shuffle by genre group. I know this is a lot of programming, but would be an awesome and unique feature.

Noticed a bug, when downloading songs via mobile data, they are not available if you go offline, but are available if on line but mobile data is switched off! Not connected or using wifi at any point.

The songs are in the folder but homedj not seeing them when off line.

Hope you can help.

Is it every song or just 2 or 3?
If not every song, do you know approximate time when you noticed that so I can trace it via logs?

Thank you.

Tried again but this time using wifi, played an album then switched to off line, track 1 didn't save, track 2 appears in one album on homedj, track 3-12 appear in a different album. Using "file explorer" all the tracks are in the same folder except track 1 which is missing. When on line homedj shows all tracks in a single album. Hope this helps.

Could you look in Error log on your device in HomeDJ Settings:
Settings->Error Log

Do you see errors about the track which was not saved?
Thank you.

That what I suspected.
HomeDJ will delete local file if playback failed, but this error actually sort of warning. I will change not to delete local copy on Playback warnings.
Thank you.
