I'm guessing there is some sort of corruption in the database created during folder scan.

The tags are incongruous with the particular tracks also stating they're from very different albums.

The folder on the PC shows 43 tracks but Muzecast shows 72 items??

How can I remove/fix them without deleting database and re-scanning entire library??

I have run folder scan a few times since this issue appeared but to no avail.

Any help greatly received.

Brendan

Hi it's mainly the subfolders of the Playtlist folders for example;

E:/Playlists/#All

E:/Playlists/Jam

E:/Playlists/TTTTTT

The songs are there but are duplicated incorrectly at the top with 0 minutes.

Quite frustrating when I'm trying to quickly select a song from those folders.

Thanks for responding.

Could you check in Muzecast Configurator Library Status Dup Songs item? Does it show NONE of FOUND? Could you check what songs Muzecast found as duplicate if FOUND is displayed. You can click on FOUND link to see duplicate songs.
Thank you.

Duplicates NONE
Failed about 4 (not related)
Analysis errors about 200 (not related)
Orphan CUE NONE

🙄

I have noticed that the E:/ folder is showing many more items on the app than on the configurator or when I check Home Computer status.

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and re-scan the library!!

Thanks again for your response.

If I'm going to rescan the whole library which files should be deleted to make sure it removes the corrupt database??

I'd ideally like to keep the playlists created??

To rebuild database you would have to remove folder called "Libraries", which is under Muzecast installation folder. Then run Folder scan. I am still tracing down the issue....
Thank you.

Shall I do this or leave for a while so you can work out what is happening?

Just has a thought.

Could it be a tagging issue as all the affected tracks have been play through Traktor software at some point.

Maybe the tagging is getting confused somehow???

Did you try latest Muzecast Streaming Server Desktop software update and did you run Folder Scan after update?
Did it help to resolve the issue?
Thank you.

Scan is about half-way through. Could be a few more days... ;)

I did not delete the libraries folder but I am running a folder scan since latest update yes.

I have checked playlist folders for hidden or system files but nothing there.

Only thing I can think of is that Traktor DJ software adds something to file tags which maybe confusing your tagging system.

I'll let the scan complete and then come back to you.

Cheers

Brendan
