Hi
The android client doesn't start playing until the full track has downloaded, is there a way to get it to stream while still downloading. I seem to remember it doing initially bit I may have changed something or I could just be wrong.
Thanks

What device are you using?
Are you streaming in Original quality FLAC mode?
Thank you.

Hi sorry, its a rooted nexus 4. With Android 5.1 on it. I am streaming ogg files. Have tested over data and WiFi and it seems the same. However trying with my Asus tablet that does stream without downloading first. I have cleared data and reinstalled app to see if it was a setting I had changed. Is there anything you would like me to try.
Thanks
Rich

In Android Settings enable Developer mode ( I guess you already have it enabled, because you are rooted).
In Developers Settings check what Player is selected. Try this option checked and unchecked.
There is an option to use NuPlayer, and on some devices it is causing some issues.
Thank you.

Hi
I have tried that, reboot just to make sure, but no difference. Track still has to download 100% before play starts. Anything else to test?
Thanks

Are you using Viper4Android variant for Android 5.1?

In Muzecast Settings try to uncheck OGG checkbox to let it stream in MP3.
Thank you.

Success. That seems to have sorted it. Seems it the combination of awesomeplayer and mp3 that did it. I had tried disabling ogg before and it hadn't worked but that was with nuplayer.
Thanks so much for the help
