Hi, I have some playlists in my PC folder that will not show up on my phone. They were created with Winamp. Do the playlists have to be created in the HomeDJ app to be recognized? Thanks in Advance, Brian

Please check if playlist items (songs) are pointing to existing file and these files are in the path of folders you added to HomeDJ.
Also you can check an option ON: Automatically Include folders from playlist checkbox in HomeDJ Configurator General tab and Restart folder scan.

Thank you.

It looks like I am having the same problem. I have two playlists in a folder and the folder has been added to my Folder List. I have ran the folder scan twice and neither of the playlists have shown up on my phone.
Any suggestions?

Having playlist in the folder is not the only reason to show playlist in the HomeDJ.
Please check content of the playlist. Each item of playlist have a path to a song. Check if this songs exists at this path
There is also an option in HomeDJ Configurator "General Tab" to include all folders, playlist songs are located in. Check this option ON and folders (if these folders exists accessible) will be included in the folder scan.
When you change this option, please stop and start Folder Scan. |
Thank you.

I figured it out. My file paths included the server name for my home network - \\servername\drive\folder. I removed the servername and just had the drive ID - C:\folder - and it worked fine.
Thanks for the awesome app!
