After using and loving the software for over a year I've recently found a new problem that never formerly existed.
The stock music player and others used to always detect the cached songs and so this was my preferred method of transferring music from my computer. It's useful, particularly when I have no data or want to use a ringtone editor or mixing program. Recently however all such programs tell me I have no music!
The files are definitely there because I can open them from the android/data folder using Ghost Commander file explorer but appear to be flagged as hidden. This is really vexing.
I wonder if this is specific to the pro version as I just recently purchased that to support your hard work. I need this resolved by the weekend as I might be called upon to fill in between dj sets at a show I'm organising.
Thank you!

This is due to a security in Android itself. Google requires 3rd party application to place files in special folder: sdcard/Android/com.vorlan.homedj/files and that folder is not getting scanned by Android because folder: sdcard/Android has special hidden file called: .nomedia Because of this file, no files are scanned by OS.
3rd party application are no longer allowed to place files anywhere else unless this application is System /OS application.
You still can play cached files using HomeDJ in Offline Mode.
