Hey there, I was using HomeDJ for a while without a problem at all. I moved all my music from my D: and F: drive to I: drive and updated by folder configurations on my PC to I: and for some reason HomeDJ on my Phone when I click to see my folders is still showing D: and F: with all my music in there but it doesn't play them. I tried everything from uninstall the applications on both my Computer and my phone and reinstalling it. I checked the HomeDJ/Library text files and they are showing all my music to be in the I: drive. I'm not sure what else to do. I need some help.

Did you run Folder Scan after you moved your music files/folders?
Thank you.

There is a file called "index.txt" in HomeDJ\Libraries\My Library folder.

Could you zip his file and send it to my email (for privacy), or you can take a look at this file (I know it is probably big), but after seeing a few rows from this file you will see where files are pointing to: D or I drive.
Thank you.

If I need to put a fix for this and you do not want to wait for a fix, you can do a work around:

1. Delete all files from HomeDJ\Libraries\My Library folder, including "index.txt" file.

2. Then run folder scan again to re-build that HomeDJ internal database.

If you do not mind to have folder scan to run again from the beginning, but it should run much faster, since analysis data for you songs should be restored and should not be re-generated again.
Thank you.

Hmmm. That file should be there after version of HomeDJ 4.2.1 and Folder scan completes.
Thank you.

Ok. I see error was reporting while trying to create that index file and libscan stopped because of this error, that is why you do not see the change.

Even though fix will take 5 minutes it might take 3-5 hours for a complete testing to run against test folders.
Thank you.

New version 4.2.3 of HomeDJ Music Streamer Server has been published. It has a fix for the issue you had with HomeDJ Folder Scan.
Thank you.

Good Stuff!

Once I deleted all those folders and ran the folder scan again, I was now able to stream my music and the index.exe file was now there. I just installed the update and everything is working fine. Thanks.
