Hi.
Firstly, this is great software and all has been working fine until the last few days. The software has updated to 4.1.8 and my PC has also updated to Windows 8.1.
I have a PC running HomeDJ and separate RAID1 NAS which is accessible by other PCs at home.
All has been working fine, but now when I initiate a scan of the folders, the scan engine starts, then fails after about 10 seconds. Looking at the event logs it looks like a password problem, but i've not changed anything. From the logs:-
2014-06-01 17:52:52,623 [5] ERROR Error [(null)] - foldersToScan Error impersonating '\\Daleandy\music' for user: admin\\NAS_NAME, Error: The username or password is incorrect System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The username or password is incorrect at Enterprise.Impersonator..ctor(String who, NetworkCredential cred, String path)
(For security in this forum post i've changed the NAS storage name to NAS_NAME in the above, although NAS-NAME is both the name of the NAS storage and also the username for HomeDJ login)
Then the next error message is:-
2014-06-01 17:52:53,061 [7] ERROR Error [(null)] - Scan File Monitor called for exit with code: 0
then the next:-
2014-06-01 17:52:53,149 [5] ERROR Error [(null)] - The username or password is incorrect System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The username or password is incorrect at Enterprise.Impersonator..ctor(String who, NetworkCredential cred, String path) at (String , NetworkCredential , String ) at A.LH.A(String , NetworkCredential , String ) at A.N.A(Object )
Please can you advise on hose to solve this. I can't see any way of specifying a username and password for access to the NAS in HomeDJ, but the PC has this share permanently connected.
Thanks in anticipation
Andy

When you added folder located on your NAS in HomeDJ Configurator, were you prompted to enter Network User name and Password to access your NAS?
I am about to post a fix, which is going to fix issue some users had streaming songs. I believe it might solve the issue you are having with HomeDJ as well.

Hi.
All sorted. 4.1.8 was not asking for username and password for my NAS, but rebooting the PC and restarting 4.1.9 version all was fine and works again.
Many thanks for your help.
