Oh. ok, You had another firewall "Bitdefender"

HomeDJ only could control Routers and Windows Firewall. It does not know anything about other software and cannot access any other software, which interfere with network traffic.

Let's see if you will be able to work directly even without my latest file I sent you.
Thank you.

What program requires a rule in the firewall to allow inbound access to the specified port ?

It already has a rule defined for it to allow all access so it must be something else preventing the server to use the port.
The firewall log does not report anything being blocked.

Yes, I shut down the Bitdefender firewall and setup a different firewall program

Can you please explain why the "Library Status" suddenly went down from "Processing 35%" to 1%, without me adding any new files or folders ? Thanks.

It looks like library scan was started about an hour ago. Percentage is shown not for the whole library but only for files which have to be analyzed. It always starts with 0% when library scan is started.

For example you ran scan and had 10000 songs to be analyzed. After a few hours it analyzed 25%, a.k.a 2500 songs out of 10000.

Then you stopped scan.

Next time you start the scan, it will show that you left to analyzed 7500 songs, and after an 10 minutes it analyzed, let's say 100 songs, which will show up as 1% Processing progress.
Thank you.

mipcore.exe is song analysis program from MusicIP.
When you force library scan to stop, mipcore.exe could still run for a few more seconds up to a minute to finish analyzing a single song.

Thank you.

Do you have any image file in the same directory which is the same name as a song file?

For example song file name:
HappyBirthday.mp3

And is there any image like:
HappyBirthday.jpg
HappyBirthday.jpeg
HappyBirthday.png
?

HomeDJ first looks for image files named the same as song file name but with extension to JPG, JPEG, or PNG
if not found
Then it looks in ID3TAG.
if not found or corrupted
Then it looks for image file located in the same folder.
Image files are looked for like this:
folder.jpg, cover.jpg
if not found
it looks for any image file located in the folder where song is
if not found
HomeDJ looks on the Web.
Thank you.

I looked more closely.
The folder has no image file.
all tracks have IDTAG artwork embedded
When I browse the artist album list, there is no image displayed on the left side.
when I enter the album to view the track list, no image displayed on the top next to the album name.
When I click a track to play it, the image does show up while the track is playing.

Here's a sample album folder where this problem happens:

I will test with one of the files and see if there are any problems.

Artwork might not show up immediately. Have you try to display the same list again and see of artwork is displayed? Or it is never displayed?

What HomeDJ is doing while displaying artwork:
Connect to your computer and asks for Artwork for a song.
HomeDJ Server performs artwork lookup and if found it HAS to convert it to a smaller format 64x64 px for thumbnail.
IDTAG usually have huge artwork and that has to be reduced.
If this process takes too much time, this request might timeout silently and default artwork is displayed.
It might timeout if computer is under powered for image conversion or too busy.
Timeout value is 15 seconds.
Thank you.

I tried to display same list again tonight and still no artwork is present for this album.

Just posted HomeDJ Server 4.1.4.

It will have a fix for the artwork issue you mentioned.
Thank you.
