FREE version of HomeDJ Streamer/Player will come back on Google Play store soon as 30 days evaluation. (ETA Week of 4/22/13)
Also all other version will be updated with improved playback start-up time as well as new option to STREAM ONLY without storing file locally on Android Device SDCARD.

Next in line:
- FLAC streaming, as well as MP3 at 320kbps streaming. In other words there will be an option to stream native file without any conversion if device supports it:
OGG will be streamed as OGG
MP3 will be streamed as MP3
FLAC will be streamed as FLAC
APE will be streamed as FLAC
Lossless ACC will be streamed as FLAC
Wavpack will be streamed as FLAC
Native streaming would probably cost a little bit more as in-app purchase, because I would have upgrade my servers and beef-up Internet connection, which will increase operational cost.

Hello Oleg,
I'm a new user of Homedj and this is my first post. Great job ! nice UI, efficient window server. I really appreciate the autoDJ feature based on musicIp analyse.
One point is missing for me : "stream native file without any conversion if device supports it ..." (sprint 2 in milestones).
All my music collection is based on flac files; it's really frustating in my home network not to be able to listen music lossless.
Any idea on a next release with this feature ?
After that I'll throw away my former music streamer server !

Native streaming was pushed back due to other requested features had more weight. I will come back to this after the following tasks are complete:
1. Download (pin) songs - 100% complete; - TESTING...
2. Digital Sign and cleanup HomeDJ Server installation;
3. Share song via SMS, email, FB, TW, and other;
4. Auto generation of Favorite songs playlists;
5. Use of Last.fm;
6. Native Streaming (FLAC)
