I use HomeDJ primarily to listen to podcasts. iTunes will automatically download podcasts, so I would like HomDJ to periodically perform a scan for new music. As it is now, I need to manually open the HomeDJ interface and hit the "Start Folder Scan" button. If you could automatically scan for new podcasts at a specific time of day, that would make HomeDJ much more user friendly for podcast listeners.
Note: I have purchased HomeDJ as a replacement for Motocast, and in general I am very happy with HomeDJ.

You can use Windows feature to Schedule task to run HomeDJ program named: libscan.exe at the time you would like to run a folder scan.
Go to the Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler and create a task to run libscan.exe.
