I've installed Server v3.4.7.
All of my music is on a USB connected drive (L:). I've added about 20 folders to the list and started the folder scan, but the application event log is reporting that it cannot find any of the folder and the final log entry says:- 2013-11-20 08:19:34,001 [3] ERROR Error [(null)] - No Folders found System.Exception: No Folders found at A.M.A(Object )
Here is the content of homedj.ini file
[server] port=39266 localwifi=True [media] fullscan=Full threads=4 folders=23 folder_0=L%3a%5cMusic%5cABBA folder_1=L%3a%5cMusic%5cBaroque+Music+-+Vivaldi%2c+Bach+%26+Handel+(+5+CDs+Box-Set+)+(+1998+) folder_2=L%3a%5cMusic%5cBilly+Joel folder_3=L%3a%5cMusic%5cBlack+Sabbath folder_4=L%3a%5cMusic%5cChris+De+Burgh folder_5=L%3a%5cMusic%5cCliff+Richard folder_6=L%3a%5cMusic%5cCurtis+Stigers folder_7=L%3a%5cMusic%5cDIRE+STRAITS folder_8=L%3a%5cMusic%5cERIC+CLAPTON folder_9=L%3a%5cMusic%5cFleetwood+Mac folder_10=L%3a%5cMusic%5cFrankie+Valli+%26+The+Four+Seasons+-+20+Greatest+Hits folder_11=L%3a%5cMusic%5cGenesis folder_12=L%3a%5cMusic%5cHawkwind folder_13=L%3a%5cMusic%5cJeanMichelle+Jarre folder_14=L%3a%5cMusic%5cJohann+Strauss+II folder_15=L%3a%5cMusic%5cLed+Zeppelin+-+Complete+Discography folder_16=L%3a%5cMusic%5cMax+Boyce folder_17=L%3a%5cMusic%5cShadows folder_18=L%3a%5cMusic%5cSteppenwolf folder_19=L%3a%5cMusic%5cTangerine+Dream folder_20=L%3a%5cMusic%5cThe+Three+Tenors folder_21=L%3a%5cMusic%5cVangelis folder_22=L%3a%5cMusic%5cABBA%5c1973+-+Ring+Ring [security] xxxxxxxxx ( I blanked this bit)
Any ideas why it can't scan my music?
thanks Neil

Hello,
What type of files your music collection is? Is it WMA?

Hi,
Its all mp3. and fixed it now.
Ran it as administrator with Windows7 compatibility and also changed the service logon from system account to my account and hey presto it burst into life

Great!
Looks like your external drive was unaccessible for Windows build in SYSTEM account.
Thank you.
