I upgraded to latest server version, and it seems to have forgotten things. I had to log in again, show where my music folders were etc.
I have over 30,000 music files and it's taking a very long time. I've given it days but twice it has gone over to 103% and I've had .net runtime exceptions and it seems to stall afterwards.
What should I do to get back to where I was before the upgrade? I've moved out a few thousand files... The android app is still going okay, and I seem to be able to play files in the snapshot state before I upgraded, but now I can't play any of the new music I have added.
After various restarts and tweaks, I'm running analyzer on 2 threads (its on a VM) and ScanMode Fast. How long should I give this to run through? I fixed any and all errors I have seen (mostly incidental path name too long etc).

It's a problem all of us are having. Still waiting on the developers to fix it.

Ahh okay, I can be patient.
Is there a workaround at all in the meanwhile? Perhaps downgrading?
Is there a thread I have missed where this is being discussed?

If you look at the support user, the forum says last online 13 days ago, so they are at least somewhat active (even if the last post was in August 2021).
I'll remain hopeful, muzecast has been amazing for me for many, many years, so I have a lot of built up good will :P

When the app was fully supported, he would reply within 5 minutes and fix things the following day. I hope everything is OK with him.
Literally my favourite music app ever, it'll be such a shame if it goes, Plex just doesn't do it for me and I see no other elegant solution like Muzecast.

Plex is crap for music, the UI is meh and it's defiantly an afterthought. Playlists aren't properly supported either.
Every time I google for an alternative all I come across are upnp solutions that are clunky and don't cater for outside your home network.
I'm with you on this app, I use it at home (kitchen cooking), at gym, at work, when travelling, in bed etc... #1 App on my phone and best for music (outside of maybe foobar2000 I use on my desktop machine).
Let's just hold tight, I hope they are okay too, maybe just other things are more important right now.

Muzecast is one of my most used apps. It's the best of it's kind. No other app seems to handle my music library as graceful as Muzecast. I assumed it is vacation time. The forums and the app is still active, just the app isn't functioning at 100%.
