It is worth mentioning however that I had to:

1) Uninstall the server and reinstall it, but I never saw the windows firewall asking me to unlock anything, though HomeDJ appears in the list of applications as I already mention in a previous comment.

2) Opened the port in the modem/router settings, although I didn't need to do that before in order to use Muzecast outside my home network.

3) I'm using a fixed local IP if that helps on anything but the phone is using a dynamic local IP.

Just released updated version of the player, which should fix issue detecting network gateway. Should appear in the store in a couple of hours.

I believe I won't receive the update until monday, Google Play usually doesn't deliver updates on weekends but I've seen some apps getting updated on sundays.

I'll let you know anyway.

Just as I imagined, the update arrived today sunday and after testing I found out:

- The app now appears connected directly to the computer, I went to servers and I can see now the local IP there.

- Downloads are as fast as possible and songs didn't pause at all.

looking forward the new audio quality settings, I'm very excited!.

This is somewhat buggy:

I went out to a friend's house and started to listen to some music, the connection in "Media Servers" displayed "Muzecast Proxy" which is correct since I was outside my LAN.

However, when I arrived home, I opened the app to listen to some music but I noticed Hi-Res songs were downloading slowly again so I went to "Media Servers" and realized it was still as "Muzecast Proxy", so the only fix was to close the app in order to refresh the connection because it never changed while it was opened.

I hope you take a look at this.
