I recently changed the way I have my hard drives set up on my computer. Previously, all my music was on my desktop PC on the E drive. I've moved to a network drive, X, where I will access this drive from all of the computers in my house. However, when I moved everything over to the X drive, I realized I had to switch my Muzecast folders as well, as the E drive, while still exists, will just be a backup drive moving forward, and I do not want to link Muzecast to these folders any longer. (Another reason I want to use the X drive is that I plan to make playlists on the X drive so that all drives in my house, and Muzecast, would recognize the playlist being souced from files on the X drive.)
So I went in to the music folders tab on the Muzecast Configurator on my PC, and I tried to link it to the network (X) drive. For the E drive, the directory in Muzecast was just that - E:\CDs\etc. However, when I tried to set up on the network drive, it does not call it X:\CDs\etc., it gives it a long name (in my example, my network drive is plugged into a router, so the path is the name of the router, or \\RT-AC68U-D9E0). It says it is scanning the folders for 15 minutes, then nothing happens, and nothing is ultimately scanned.
Basically, my question is - can I use a network drive for my music folders in Muzecast? Or do I have to use a drive that is connected to the PC?
Please let me know if what I just said doesn't make any sense.

Muzecast can stream from network drives. If you have mapped your network share to drive X:, Muzecast will find UNC network path. You should add X:\CDs folder to Muzecast in configurator. It should expand it to UNC path, let's say: \\RT-AC68U-D9E0\CDs and Muzecast should find files. While adding Network drive, Muzecast should ask you for User name and password to access that network drive. It will store encrypted credentials for later use to access files on that drive.

Thank you.
