After updating to Muzecast server 7.0.1 errors occur when attempting to stream music. In the Muzecast log:

If I stop the Muzecast service the Windows app crash stops.

Updating 7.0.2 did not fix.

Please advise.

Looks like you are running Windows Vista.

Could you send me that file, and I will test and provide a fix under Windows Vista.

There are separate processing for Windows XP and the rest of Windows version is another way to convert, because Windows XP does not support latest ffmpeg, or I would say ffmpeg stopped supporting Windows XP. I would like to test that file to see if the same applies to Windows Vista and I have to do something special to convert it.

Another question. Do you have this issue with any file, or just M4A files from iTunes, or just this one file?

Once I see how to fix that, I will post a fix ASAP.

Thank you.
Thank you.

for a quick fix, you can fix ffmpeg this way:

Under Muzecast folder where you installed it, there is a folder named: "converters". In this folder you can see 2 versions of ffmpeg: one is just ffmpeg.exe and another one is ffmpeg_fp.exe

You can backup ffmpeg.exe to a ffmpeg_bak.exe and copy ffmpeg_fp.exe to ffmpeg.exe

I guess Vista might suffer from the same issue Windows XP does - end of support from ffmpeg.
Thank you.

The ffmpeg trick worked.

I verified the original ffmpeg failed with mp3s.

Should I send the tracks you requested to support@homedj.net?

You do not have to send file. Problem is identified and I am working on a fix. Will post soon after all regression tests are completed.
