I'm considering picking up an Android Auto receiver or enabled vehicle within the next year. A version of Muzecast that works with the system would be awesome!
Thanks for all the hard work, I use Muzecast constantly both at home and in my car.

I second this request. I just got Android Auto and would love to see Muzecast on there. I have to use DSub for now which works with Android Auto but I prefer Muzecast.

After using Muzecast through Android Auto for a week or so now, I have realized how important the voice search is to the Android Auto implementation. The choices on the menus are somewhat limited (as they are supposed to be), and this is good, because it is not supposed to distract from driving, so, in order to play anything outside of a very limited scope, which largely includes things that have been played recently in one way or another, it reeeealy needs voice input to work. I still cannot get the voice input to work (see here). http://forum.muzecast.co...-search-not-working.aspxNo matter how many times I re-scan my folders on the server. For most purposes outside android auto it's not a big deal since I can just text search, but in the car, I have a really limited choice unless I can use my voice to search. Anyone managed to get this new feature to work? It seems like it is completely broken to me. Edited by user Monday, June 27, 2016 1:59:01 PM(UTC)

I detected problem and working to fix it. It is on my side. No update would be required. I am looking on why search index was not created. |
Thank you.

Search index has been created. You can try. You do not have to try it from a car though. You should be able to perform voice search from Google Now. |
Thank you.

Cool, I just tried it and it works perfectly, no need to even re-scan.
Is there anything I need to do to make sure it works in the future? What happens if I add some songs and need to re-scan, will it still work?
I have lost count of the number of times I'v been in the car and thought "I really want to listen to <blah>", I get the feeling the this will be my favorite Muzecast feature...thanks for fixing it, you made my day :)

If you add new tracks and scan it, it will be automatically added to voice search.
