Hello,
my music collection has more than 85000 tracks encoded in FLAC.
99% of them are fingerprinted with MusicIpserver and the fingerprints are archived in the tracks' metadatas. They are all declared mixable by MusicIp tools
Mp3Tag and other softwares read the tags in the metadatas.
When Muzecast scan and analyze the same collection, using the same tools for fingerprinting, the number of tracks found is the same but less than 50% of them is declared mixable. Client side Muzecast gives an error message "operation failure" when you ask for a mix on all the remaining tracks.
Having no explanation for these results I made a test limiting the collection to 3 tracks. MusicIP declares all of them as "mixable" and HomeDJ find one mixable and the two tracks left as non-mixable.
The test has been done on the original tracks and then on the renamed, converted to Mp3 extracts HomeDj 's scan process creates inside the "MyLibrary" folder.
Do you have an idea of what is running wrong ?
I can give you a link where you can get the 3 tracks used for the test and try the same approach to find what is wrong, but I am sure that you can reproduce the same test with MusicIp fingerprinted tracks of your own.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
EDIT :
Going further with my tests : taking the same 3 tracks and maybe also if extended to all tracks : if you delete the fingerprints left by MusicIp in tracks ' tags, Homedj analyser does the job as expected, analysing with musicIp and then declares all tracks "mixable"Edited by user Monday, March 9, 2015 12:43:23 AM(UTC)
