Hi all, I too got the dreaded "application not licenced" message a few days ago when trying to open Muzecast on my Google Pixel phone.
As others have said, basically, the Muzecast for Android application has been removed from "Google Play" and "Amazon", and therefore Android phones essentially "think" the Muzecast app' is unlicensed and therefore unsafe to use.
However, I found some light at the end of the tunnel !!
Firstly (although I cannot verify that this is absolutely essential, because I did it before installing) modify your Android phone settings such that your phone will accept the installation of "unlicensed" applications (ie : not from Google Play); I would suggest you (somewhat ironically) "Google" how to do this for your own phone / version of Android; is shouldn't be complicated.
Secondly you'll need to uninstall your current version of Muzecast; your choice of course, and it's a leap of faith, but this has all worked out for me !
Thirdly, you'll need to install Muzecast from the following site; just type this address into your internet browser on your Android phone;
https://muzecast-free.en...roid/download/1031870816I had to have a couple of goes at this, because I think there are several versions of Muzecast you can choose, and i initially chose an older version which wasn't compatible with my latest version of Android, but the second time I installed from the above site, it downloaded and installed.
Once installed and opened, you'll need to sign in to your Muzecast account, and (for me at least) it then simply just all worked !!
Some of the Muzecast "user settings" seem to have gone back to their defaults, but this is a minor inconvenience, and I just went through them again and tweaked them to suit my requirements.
In fact the "new" Muzecast seems to be less flaky; for example whereas before it would take several attempts before the app would close "properly" it now closes straight away.
It has even "remembered" all my playlists, etc, and I am also able to "cast" to the various "Chromecast" devices around my home and workshop to play my music.
Fingers crossed this keeps on being the case !!
Cheers, Mike
