It is required by Google to have a limited interface and reduce browsing to a minimum to avoid accidents. Otherwise app will be removed from Google store. |

Unconvincing motivation, there are music apps that have had album and artist sections available in AA for many years already. I would be interested in Muzecast for its ability to read cue-sheet but without these features in Android Auto it's pretty much useless.
