I have an LG Bluetooth speaker dock. I connect via my LG G3 via Bluetooth and use Muzecast for music. The app will play two songs before I lose all control and Muzecast crashes. I have to reboot, listen to two songs...and reboot again...every time.
Not exactly sure what could be causing it. I don't feel Bluetooth is the issue, as I have experienced the problem on several speaker docks.

This is a strange issue. I am using Muzecast constantly with bluetooth Speaker, headphones, car and never experienced this kind of issue.
A few of questions: 1. Is your phone rooted or not? 2. Do you have any type of Equalizer installed. If yes, which one? 3. If you use default music player, does it crash? 4. What is the state of checkbox "Disabled SoundFX Control" in Muzecast Settings->Advanced? 5. Android version on your LG? 6. Do you have any third party sound effect app installed on your LG?

Thank you.

Another question: Does it happen only when you Play, let's say, album and not Shuffle it? What I mean, that does it happen only in gapless playback mode and not shuffle or Mix mode?

Thank you.

Does not crash with default player.
4. What is the state of checkbox "Disabled SoundFX Control" in Muzecast Settings->Advanced?
Unchecked.
5. Android version on your LG?

6. Do you have any third party sound effect app installed on your LG?
Nope.

I typically listen to albums in order, but I am quite sure I've tried a playlist and had the same problem.
Thanks for the help. Sorry my reply took so long. Love the app. And Oleg is a totally badass name.

Playlist also can be played in gapless mode. But if you turn album or playlist into Shuffle mode, does it crash while playing several songs? |
Thank you.

4. What is the state of checkbox "Disabled SoundFX Control" in Muzecast Settings->Advanced?
Current state is Unchecked.
Check if ON it and try to play album in sequence (gapless).

I have no success playing anything in gapless mode with Bluetooth. Playlist, album, etc. Weird. I can only shuffle. I've tried both SoundFX options with no difference when playing gapless. Apologize for bumping the thread. Edited by user Sunday, July 5, 2015 6:27:43 PM(UTC)

If you are on Lollipop, check options NuPlayer in Android->Settings->Developers Options on your device. It should be turned off. |
Thank you.

Do you still having the issue crashing after 2 songs played while connected via BT?
Are you on the latest version of Muzecast Streamer/Player? Are you using Internal Equalizer or external, or none?
Open Muzecast Settings and change option "Use Internal Streaming" to ON in Advanced Section of Muzecast Settings. Let me know if this helped. |
Thank you.
