I made a new fresh install of Windows 7 Pro 4 weeks ago, and everything is working well. Except that I can't install HomeDJinstall.exe (I have never used this program before) After the installation is finished, there is not any welcome screen asking for user/pw, and no program is installed I have searched for HomeDJ and Flex, but there is nothing in my computer (except 2 installation files) I have tried with running the install as in Win XP, but that did not work either, I have also installed this program with Norton anti virus disabled. When did you download Installation package? Do you have folder HomeDJ located on your C: drive? Try to re-download installation package from www.homedj.net by deleting Browser cache first. Let me know how installation goes. |

I got another file (strange..), but it's working and I got the stream to work now! :) I will try to figure out how to make it stream my music =) Right now it's only the test-music that are streaming I'm still using the trial version Edit: I just read on Google Play that I have to buy the application before it works from my computer (it was a bad translation that Google Translate had done into Swedish) Edited by user Monday, May 27, 2013 5:25:43 AM(UTC)

You do not have to buy HomeDJ Streaming Server. It is free.
HomeDJ Player is free for 30 days, then it will have limited functionality: Users will be able to play albums, but not Genre, Artist, Folder, or create Mixes.

Great, thank you.
I will remove these lines from description to avoid confusion. I put those lines before when some people were rating application as 1 start complaining that DEMO account does not have commercial music, like Pandora or other similar services, where HomeDJ is not designed for this.
And yes you can stream any music under your user name. There are no limits.
