Muzecast not letting me use it anymore. Several days ago now it just stopped working after working very successfully and happily for many months.

Despite reboots etc no joy. So I uninstalled the application using windows ‘control panel’ uninstall option. Then I re-downloaded the software again and tried a fresh install - no joy. It seems to install but do nothing.

When looking in the Muzecast folder that it creates on the C drive the exe file that the desktop DJ configurator short cut points to has zero size, not sure if that’s normal. The software seems to do nothing apparent from create the muzecast folder full of files.

Have now tried several uninstalls and re-installs over several days with the same outcome. So as I say it’s not so much me not stopping Muzecast as Muzecast not letting me use it.

Looks like it is an issue with Avast antivirus. I submitted to Avast a request why it is blocking some installs, even though I installed Muzecast and it is running on Avast protected computer.
Thank you.

Have you upgraded to Windows 10 at the same time when you upgraded Muzecast?

Could you try to uninstall Muzecast Server, Reboot and Install it again?

Also check if you had it prior installed to HomeDJ folder or Muzecast folder?
