Hi All,
Great software :)
I have an Android TV Box which I stream my music to using Muzecast.
But it still goes out via the internet and back in again.
I was wondering if there was a way of connecting it via the local network?
I have tried all the obvious - local IP address - local network name - none seem to work.

Thank you.

Make sure you configure Startup option for Muzecast Streaming Server to run when computer starts. In that case Muzecast Streaming Server will run as a Service and will be able to configure listener for local network requests from Muzecast Player on your TV box.

To change Startup option, open Muzecast Configurator in "As ADministrator" mode. Select tab "Startup" and change it to "When my computer starts". Click "APPLY CHANGE" button after that.

Muzecast Streaming Server will restart and you will be able to stream locally.

In most of the cases with Windows Use Access Control, Muzecast might not get permissions to allocate local URL to accept local network streaming requests of WiFi when Muzecast Streaming Server starts on Log On. That is why it should be configured to start as a service (on startup).

Also make sure that Windows firewall is configured to accept local requests through the port configured in Muzecast Streaming Server. You do not have to configure your router to open the port, just a Windows Firewall.
Thank you.

Muzecast is working fine thanx - it streams perfectly to both my Phone and TV Box.

Perhaps you would now read my question properly -

Based on log records it shows that Muzecast Streaming Server is streaming songs directly to any of your device without round trip.

Muzecast goes via internet for Metadata (Artist, Album, Song, Folder) lists and Artwork, but music files are streamed directly to your device.
If device is connected to your local Network, songs are streamed via Local Network.

It looks like Folder Scan is still running. Folder Scan uploads via Internet metadata and analysis information to a Muzecast Central Server.
Thank you.
