I have all of my music under a folder named E:\music which contains subfolders. I have a subfolder named "E:\Music\Recently Added\" where I place new music.

I only want to scan for changes in this one subfolder without having to scan my entire collection. Is there a way with this folder structure?

TIA

Scan will be performed including all folders, you have configured. New files will be added first. If you want changes in "Recently Added" folder to be processed faster, place it as first item in Folder List.

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.

So folder list would look like this?

E:\Music\Recently Added
E:\Music

But, it would still scan the whole folder (E:\music) and take just as long. It is a lot of files as you are aware of and I didn't need to scan the whole thing, only the new files.

Yes, I can look like this. In order to find new files, they need to be scanned for timestamp. 2 stage scan first scans for new files, which should be relatively fast. Second stage will scan for changed files and deleted files.
Thank you.
