Quick question; Will I have to rescan the server every time I download a new song from I-tunes or any downloaded song for that matter, or will the server automatically detect a new song download and scan on its own or will I have to re-scan my music folders every time a new song is added to the folders?

Yes. You have to start Folder Scan every time you added or changed or removed a song from folders you have added to HomeDJ. Please note that it will only scan newly added songs and will not take as much time as it took for the first scan. For example you added one Album to your library of. let's say 50000 songs. Folder scan will take about 3 minutes to find new songs you added and about 15-20 minutes to complete the scan.

Automatic folder monitoring could be added as an option.

Thank you.

Okay cool! So is there already an option for auto fodler management or is it in the works? I'm just curious. (I probably should read your tutorials section before I ask this question!)

You can also start folder scan from your Android Device by going to:
HomeDJ Settings->Connection->Check Server Status.
There you will see a button "Start Folder Scan" on the bottom of the screen.

Not quite yet. The option to start folder scan automatically is under development. Tutorial is not quite ready yet, but it will be once I get more time to explain things after I implement high priority requests or just adding some answers I posted to users as a tutorial items.
Thank you.

Yeah I saw that option in the settings on the app in my phone. That is awesome that you can do that! That means you can update it from anywhere! Definitely like that!
